I think I asked about this once before but I can't remember what it is. I think it might be a 4-speed carb.

What is different about an auto and a 4-speed carb? Will a 4-speed carb work with an auto?

What is the CFM rating of this carb? Is it generally just for restoration use or can it be used in a mild performance application?

1970 340 manual trans Assembled in September of 1969. CFM was around 600 (factory rating was 630 or so)

So are the linkages different between the manual and auto carbs?

Should I have this one redone for use on a 330hp 360 or stick with my thermoquad?

No all the same throttle linkage. The TQ will likely make more power and run more efficiently.
