Hey guys I need to do something about the brakes on the front of my car. Need to get rid of the drum brakes and switch to disc. Anyone know of a good kit that wont brake the bank? Any suggestions? Thanks....Joe

Swapping in either 62-72 B body, 73-76 A body or 76 up F,M,J and late B(73-74) will be the most economical.

I used the A bodys on my 65 B body. Then I swapped to the taller late B body spindles.I like them better.Been on at least 6 years now.First conversion was 12 years ago.Going the used Mopar parts is one of the best.Parts can be had anywhere.Rocky

I like the later stuff myself. Need a part, I can go pick it up at the local parts store. Also doesn't hurt that the spindles and so on I've always had laying around on parts car. Buying a kit makes it much easier but it will cost more.

I am using 2006 crown vic stuff on my 68 charger, if you get the bracket made, its a bolt on deal to the stock drum spindles and gives you 12.02 rotors and dual piston calipers. Parts are sourced from any junkyard except the brackets, which I have a drawing for. Tim
