Is there any difference between a 71 and 74 Dart trans crossmember? Could the mount be different? If so could the mounts be interchanged? Thanks

The mount is different, but they bolt into the car the same and the holes in the trans are in the same place...but, you need the whole thing (crossmember and the part that bolts to the trans - 74 used the spool mount, same insert as motor mount).

That's what I was wondering. So as long as I have the 71 cross member and 71 mount together, it will work in a74 correct?

Yes but the spool mount is far superior if you use the poly bushings..

I am truckless..
