I'm swapping a 1982 9 1/4 axle with the small bolt pattern into my 1985 D-150, I am also swapping the front rotors from the 82 to the 85 so the bolt pattern will be the same on all 4 corners, my question is, do I need to just buy the inner front wheel bearing and race for a 82 to swap the rotor assembly to my 85 , or do I need inners and outers, I wold think the outers would be the same, or am I missing something?. The small bolt pattern hub/rotor assemblies are in perfect shape, I just want to make sure I have all the right parts on hand before I start the swap. Thanks!!

Same differance. Use early 80s to get small bolt or 85-93 to get big bolt. They use the same bearings. Just put the 82 rotors on after repacking the bearings

same bearing for the early/late trucks.

76 new yoker rotors fit the trucks for the SBP with same bearing also.

I have orderd the 76 NYs cheaper than 82 truck rotors for some reason each time i have swaped a set. so you may want to shop around on price.

I agree scratch. I have used 77 New Yorker rotors before.iirc, they are a tad bigger diameter, but they work fine.
