Has anyone here changed the steering on a 1978 D-150 to a Rack and Pinion. It seems to me that it shouldn't be that hard. I think it would be worth the work to get quicker and more postive steering. Don't most late model trucks have R and P steering. That should give a person a sample to go by. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Mopars, Larry

A member here (clutch) did one. I think he used a fox body mustang or maybe a mustang 2 unit. Look thru my posts over the last 3 months, I know there are pics in one of the replys. I was talking about doing a crown vic susp swap.

If I don't do the swap, I am going to use a fox body rack, along with suspension mods.
