Biginchmopar OP pro stock Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 1,397 Carson City, Nevada	I need some help on getting a window net and mounting it. I have a funny car cage and would like to use something that doesn't get in the way. Pictures Ideas Anything would be greatly appriciated.

I have a 3/8" rod in the lower... it has a sleeve welded to both ends where the rod slides into them with a hair pin clip at each end... I dont have any pics of the net up The rod goes through the bottom of the net(they sew a fold in the bottom for it.. if you mount it that way) EDIT The sleeves are welded to the chassis... sorry I didnt say that Last edited by MR_P_BODY; 05/01/13 12:58 AM.

NHRA does not specify where the net has to be but the IHRA rulebook states that the front of the window net must be within 2 inches of the rearmost point of the steering wheel. Most people probably don't care but I am a stickler for meeting the rules.

I seen a guy ahead of me in tech get bumped due to his being mounted on the outside portion of the tubing... they dont want the net/and mounts ground off if you flip up on the side and are sliding on it... that part is a logical rule Also if you go with one style net (I forget if its the ribbon or which) that it doesnt expire for SFI
