Hi Guys, Don't usually post in this forum but I am hoping someone can help. Purchased the above vehicle March a year ago for my daughter with just under 80,000 miles. It now has a little over 89,000. Has the 318(5.2)and full time 4wd. Had a stalling issue every now and then when first purchased. Make it a mile or so and stall. Pull over and start right back up. Started with the CPS and did not fix. Kept getting worse and by August had to do something. Replaced the IAC and that seemed to solve the problem....until about the past month. Doing the same thing but over a much longer drive(fully warmed up).Mostly happens when she is stopped at a stop sign or traffic light. She says it "shudders" and stalls. It seems to happen only once during the day it happens. Sometimes it will go a day or two and be fine. Puts it in park(tried to tell her neutral is fine!)and starts right back up. Replaced the IAC again just in case(warranty for a year)and no fix. Replaced the TPS and that also was a no fix. She also says sometimes while driving it will "hiccup"(her words)and catch itself and not stall. I don't mind spending good money on it but don't want to keep dumping bad money. My next step would be the PCM. It's a couple hundred bucks plus whatever the dealer charges to flash. My question(s) is do you think it is the PCM or do you think it is something I am overlooking? Anyone else have this happen and figure it out? Sorry for the long read but wanted to give as much info as possible. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.
Forgot to mention,I saw where people have backed out the 2 torx screws on the PCM and it fixed their problem....this PCM does not have them.

A few years ago I had a very similar problem with my '98 GC (stalling ,cutting out on the highway, sputtering). I replaced components in my distributer, the crank trigger sensor (one between the trans. and the Eng.), and finally the computer. The sensor seemed to fix the problem for a while, but it just started doing it again (and getting steadily worse). The computer was the problem. I found a computer exchange source in Florida. I replaced the computer and the problem is gone for good (direct plug n play).

Now I've read the reviews, some good, some bad, of people having problems with this company, some saying it's great. I bought my computer back in '10. I guess you'll just have to take your chances.
Here's a pic of my old computer. Good luck.
