I need to replace the gas tank on my LRE and figure I might as well replace the other related items since they are 35 years old.

I can't find any part number listings in order to check Dealer availablity. Also no luck with aftermarket search

I need...

1. Gas Tank
2. Sending Unit
3. the rubber hose that goes from the gas tank to the filler neck
4. Another item I was wondering about is just forward of the sending unit...maybe it's a tank breather valve??

Anyone have any info they can share with me?

If your tank is not leaking just clean it inside and out and be done with it.
You may have to look thru parts stores for the filler hose or more likely a suitable replacement for a reasonable price.
Vent hose I give similar advice.

Unfortunately the tank does have a leak. It is on the top somewhere...and a crossmember goes over it so I can not see it. I will need to drop the tank to see exactly where it is. I am hoping it will be small and repairable.

I also have a LRE with gas tank problems. My truck sat for many years with gas in it. Now it has this ugly crap in it. I have looked everywhere for another tank, with no luck. In your case, they do make plastic welders that should work to repair your tank. As for the hoses and sender unit, I would check out all the self service wrecking yards, that's what I did. The other valve you were talking about is more than likely a roll over valve. I think all trucks that years with the tank outside of the cab had that valve.
