Anyone know if i can replace the cab on my 97 ram 1500 with a 2000 ram 1500 cab.. Other than interior differences they look the same. im sure i will have to swap some wiring maybe dash.. i was just curious if anyone has any info...
a friend has a rust free 00 cab that i can get for next to nothing... mine is almost to far gone to do any rust repair.

No info here but I think you're right it should be a straight swap. I believe gas motored trucks have the same harness.
Haven't seen you post in a while. I see you still don't mind getting into huge projects. 
Is that bumper painted on that truck?

lol redraptor, kids have gotten the better of me.. i still have dreams of putting my 72 crew cab back on the road ( major work required)....  I like big projects.. I hate body work but if its all mechanical stuff count me it. the 97 pictured above is a regular cab.. i mean the cabs look the same but im not familiar with these newer rigs.. This 97 was ordered with the 5.9 auto, its a swb 2wd whats not to like? rusty for sure but the frame is good... Just picked up a rust free bed and front fenders for it too. As soon as the weather breaks ill get on it..
