um I put a back glass from a 86 parts truck to a 79 warlock without any problems?? only difference is some are thicker than others The door striker didn't move either it was a smaller design than the thicker 85-earlier versions because I installed doors off a 86 parts truck onto my 81 stepside and had to use the 86 strikers, but they are in the same location, not trying to make anyone upset, but I've done this swap many times without any problems on these trucks.

The roofline of the regular cab was also different. It was much more square above the rear window when viewed from the side. The club and crew cabs had the same profile as the 72-80 cabs.
OIF V and OEF X veteran and proud of it!

Rear window in a 72- 4 is 2" narrower than 75-93. Did a custom job on a 74 back in the late 70's, only one person some what nailed year of truck, well experienced glass guy that knew mine had the narrow rear glass.
My 73 Had a 85 Back window I've had 74s with and without in cab tanks.
