Just as the title asks, what is the tuner you have used for your Hemi Ram? I have used a Hypertech (useless) for my '01 Ram, a Superchips(better) for my '01 Durango R/T and a Diablosport for my newly departed '10 Challenger(best so far). Is Bully Dog worth anything for gas trucks? I am mostly concerned in the tow/haul settings, and even though it is like looking for hens teeth, I am also slightly interested in wringing a couple MPG out of my newly acquired '06 Hemi Ram Sport. Any experiences/suggestions/etc are appreciated. It has a K&N CAI on it, and I know on the Challenger it really isn't optimized until you tune it for the extra air flow. I'm guessing all Hemi's can be nearly the same on that front? Thanks in advance.

It has been proven that the factory air box is as good if not better the aftermarket CAI's.....just say'n

I really like SCT. That's what my Dakota is tuned with and I'm happy with how it runs.
Contact hemifever tuning to go over your options with an '01 hemi truck

If you stop by after I can walk you through how easy it is to use
Tom, was that a typoe as far as '01? I have an '06, both '01's are gone. Will check out the website. Diablosport has a lot more tuning options of the three I have used. I know BD is popular with the diesel crowd. Wasn't sure how much good they do with gas trucks.

Y Nope. I misread your post. Of course, I should have known you didn't mean '01 anyway, since the 5.7s didn't come out until what... '03? '04?
I don't think theres any problem with the year, I'm sure Sean can tune it with SCT regardless. Shoot him an email, tell him you heard about him from me. I bet he'll reply within 15 minutes. The guy has awesome customer service

Cool! I will get ahold of him sometime next week. We all have brain freeze from time to time. I will let you know what he says.

Same thing I've gathered myself. My justification in getting one is a mechanic somewhere along the line broke part of the plastic on my factory airbox that happened after the filter letting air in
