Is there any difference in the crank register for the torque converter, or flex plate? Anything I should know?

the crank register ID is larger than the TC nose & the aftermarket spacer should be used. Not sure who makes them now. Tho people have went together without the spacer & no issues. flexplate bolts up no problem.

Doug Dutra over on www.slantsix.org sells the spacer, or Wildcat Mopars in I believe Oregon does too.

Yes, 904, not 604.

Never heard of the A604?

AKA Ultradrive?

AKA the trans that almost killed Chrysler?

For your edification; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultradrive

Doubt he has one in front of a 273 though any thing is possible with enough acetylene.
