Which intake you guys prefer for 400cid Mopar. Compression is 9.5, RacerBrown 220@.050" .484" lift 1200-5600RPM range hydraulic cam. Car is Valiant which is 80% street and 20% strip use
Single plane is no way to go but my choice would be Edelbrock Performer or Edelbrock Performer RPM...?

Low Blocks I've been around seem to run good with the old Torkers

The old Torkers and the old Holley Doms tested the best from what I re-call, but both are single plane.
As far as dual plane I believe the Eddy RPM's tested well.
I went with both the Torker and then opted for the Holley Dominator for my 500 - 400 based.
I BELIEVE they don't make the Holley for the low decks any more.
A 500 ci will pull well enough at any RPM you won't miss any low end running a single plane on the street.

The Eddy RPM would be my intake of choice. The low deck RPM is a great intake choice for a b engine between 250 to 550 hp.

with 9.5:1 that lil 400 will be pretty darn torquey no matter what intake you put on there. you better buy extra tires though.

My son uses the Performer RPM on the 400 in his mid 11 Dart. It works real good on it. Ron
