Looking at a '75 D100 shortbed on my local craigslist. One major problem is the windshield has a big crack down it. I'm new to mopar trucks, does anyone make a new windshield for it, or would it be a matter of finding one?

Thanks

New ones are readily available. About $150 installed around here. If it needs a gasket its typically $60 more.

The windshield should be the least of your worries in finding parts.

Pretty sure it is the same glass '72-'93.

It takes gasoline to interest me.

Parts aren't that hard to find. Did you consider it could be a running driving truck with a crack rite in his sight making it illegal to drive

VL21 is correct. You should be able to find a "windscreen" (the British term!) with no peoblem. Just takes money!

not trying to steal the thread but how bad is switching from a sliding back glass to a solid back glass and would glass places be able to get them?

Back window is CAKE to swap. easiest with 2 people but can be done with one. Just need a screwdriver for removal and string for install

The rear sliders had a design change from the earlier trucks to the later. But they will all interchange. As far as the flat glass, I think they were all the same. Some have said the thickness of the glass, be it windshield, door, or rear got thinner on the later trucks, but that is unconfirmed to my knowledge.

If you remove and plan to reuse a slider, be sure to save the gasket. Last I knew there were no suppliers for replacements.
