Hey guys,

Did some more trading and ended up with an 86 RC 4wd. Was a 360 but now has a 318-4v in it. A little rust through down low but the floors are solid. Interior is a little rough, pulled the armrests and swapped the pass. seat for the drivers. Then threw in an off color one for the passenger to use.

It has Turbines on it with 31s that have great tread.

Anyway the back hatch has been replaced and it sags low on the drivers side. It closes but its way out of line. Looks like the hinges have been replaced as well.

Are there any adjustments that I can make to help re-align it? It needs to go up.

Also, I have a set of 16s to go on it. What metric tire size would I need to match the 31s? Maybe wider but Id like to stick with a 31" tire diameter.

Here is a pic!

Another, notice the drivers side of the hatch mis-aligned.

The hinge area on the hatch is probably rotted out there

Or the hatch is cracked in upper section. That's a pretty heavy non-steel hatch and the cylinders are holding quite a load. P265/70's are a decent sized tire, similar to 31x1050's.

It's usually the hatch itself coming apart. Keep the hinges lubed.

As stated 265/70. Its Identical. A 75 will work also. Remember different brands mean slight variations in height but the 70 Is dead nuts with sizing. Id consider Treadwright.com for tires. Great price and quality. This tire is $116 for the 265/70 16. This is the only tread design for that size though.
What are you doing with the turbines

You bolt them on! You realize they make 30" rims that could bolt on aswell. Just about Any aftermarket rim with 5x5.5" bolt pattern will fit but backspacing affects that aswell. No diff than putting 15's on a Dart that was 14" stock. Bolt pattern/hub hole size/back spacing is All you need to know.

Newer Dodge is 5 on 5.5 pattern.

Your truck should be 5 on 4.5 pattern, so you would need to use a lug adapter. But depending on what year wheel you buy you may need a 1.5" spacer/adapter anyway. So you could still run the Dodge wheel.

The down side is once you buy the wheels, and then the adapter/spacers you could just buy an aftermarket 16" or larger wheel of your choosing with the correct pattern and backspace.

And I explained the hub hole needs to match. Didn't see where he said 94up wheels.
The steel wheels the center can be made bigger with a torch or have a machine shop do it. The aluminum rims need the same done depending on which rim. 94-01

Hp 80 up 4wd is 5.5

I wasn't sure how new of a truck he planned on getting a wheel from. So a spacer may or may not be needed.

As to the pattern I still get them confused on the 80's stuff.

80 on up is 5 on 5 1/2
