I just had a local shop custom replicate the correct seat pattern for a 1970 with buddy bucket seats . I couldn't be happier with the results!! I purchased LRE seats from a moparts member back in Dec. I then modified the seat frame to work in a Sweptline. After that I took the seats to DL Upholstery in Saco, Maine and asked the shop to remove the LRE covers, and create new covers with some reference photos of a 70 interior. The turn around time was just 3 days, and the quality is fantastic !!!

Very nice. If you don't mind about what did that cost? I have 3 needing done eventually.

Looks AWESOME! When I had the 2006 seats in my 71 W100 done, I let the upholstery guy do his thing, but after seeing the stock style covers with the horizontal pleats, I've contemplated re doing them in black leather. Now, after seeing how nice yours look, I'll go get an estimate. Pistol grip looks great, too.

I am in need of one decent seat cover, I think your old ones were black right. Got any plans for them?

GULP ...@ $1000....but the Mrs. need not know that! The problem is = these seat covers are not reproduced by ANYBODY = so they have to be custom fabricated. I also had them order 3 extra yards of material for other details that I have planned = like upper door pads, lower door map pocket panels, and I might replace the carpet gas tank cover, with the extra blue vinyl.
Thanks for all the compliments guys!
BTW the LRE seat frame is @ 4 inches LESS wider that the Sweptline frame, also the LRE mounts through the floor with studs, where the SL has brackets that are welded on top of the floor. I did a photo write up at sweptline.org in the general help section , if you want to view more details!

Oh regarding the LRE seat covers... I have a local guy who said that he might be interested in buying them from me = go figure he just needs to replace his drivers side too!
He said that they are switchable, and that the passenger side WILL work on the drivers side as well ? Also said that the medallions are nice to have, so he will take the pair....Any way he asked first , so I will give him until next weekend to decide

72-80 Dodge trucks were Lifestyle era trucks. I'm not sure where the name comes from. A quick search resulted in nothing.
