That is sweet!Nothing better than a black B-body I just painted mine black.I'll be watching this thread,Very cool car!Leaving it stock?Modified?

I've been watching your thread closely! Your ride looks awesome!
For right now I'm going to put it together as frugally as possible. I have a set of cheap headers, but if I run across a set of manifolds reasonably I will probably run them. I'm rebuilding the stock 4-wheel drums and planning a switch to disk in the future. I'm trying to put together a fairly stock 383(really whatever I can find at a decent price) but I see a stroked 383 in the future. I won't do anything to change the outer appearance or the interior too much. It was coded for road wheels, so I will run 15" chrome Magnums. Probably replace the stripe delete with a white stripe. Put a vinyl top back on it. Interior mods won't be a lot. Maybe a cloth insert matching the factory pattern in the center of the seats so I don't burn my hind quarters on the hot vinyl all summer!! (Triple black. May be hot in the summer) probably do the seats and door panels in white. But that's about it. Some day:Dana, Hemi 4-speed, 496 stroker! Lol.

It's not. There is mud under the paint around the window corners where someone tried to fix it. The right quartet had been worked. There is paint peeling all over the car with other black paint underneath. Don't know if I can get to the original paint, but my guess is there isn't much left.

nice score! yeah those aren't Ohio 1/4s. But sometimes you can't go by that. Mine came out of Michigan, and the 1/4s were junk, but surprisingly everything else is solid.

Small update. I got a small portion of the parts I ordered from Rockauto Saturday. Also went up The Right Stuff which is about 10 minutes from me and picked up a pre-bent rear axle line. So just waiting on the rest of my shipment and by the end of the week everything from the rubber hose back will be new and ready to go!

Cool Bee!! As much as I liked your Dart, you couldn't go wrong with swapping it for a Black Bee. I'll be watching this thread for sure!! Too bad you weren't closer, I've got an unfired, fresh from the machine shop 71 383 Magnum that I have no use for.

Did I ever mention how much I like road trips!? Lol.
Wish I could keep them all, but it just isn't possible. Would have been pretty cool to see the yellow Dart sharing garage space with the Duster.
Hoping the rear shoes and whatever else I'm missing that I can't seem to remember gets here today so I can get some more done!

Possibly why there is no drive shaft with the car? Could be guessed that maybe it was why the engine expired as well. Maybe it wasn't just 'tired'.

Could possibly just be someone careless taking it apart.

Left side all cleaned up and ready for reinstallation.

Brake hose replaced.

Installed.

Also half of the stainless axle line set installed.

Left side back together.

Right side pulled apart.

Then cleaned and ready to reassemble.

Not very exciting stuff. But progress finally being made. Slow.
Also bought a repop woodgrain knob for the console shifter at the swap meet this weekend.

More work on it tomorrow.

Almost seems like it! There are air lines wrapped around everything back there. Looks like you could almost wrap the car with lines. If they didn't crumble at your touch...

That's awesome. That's a good car. It had the colors I wanted. This one has the options I wanted.
If someone were to show up with a B-5 Bee with identical options and want to trade, that would cause some serious thought.
Where is the blue car headed?
