I noticed the other day that the Lo/High beam dash light is reading reversed. It lights red for lo beam and goes off for high beam. I haven't touched anything electrical on the car in years.
I replaced the switch w/ a new one and the same thing occurs. Wires look fine and the area is dry. Any insight fellas?

I would suspect that the wires to the dimmer switch were reversed...

Some people you just can't reach...

Don't see how...I never touched anything dealing with the headlights/switches since 2001 when I bought it. Is there a short somewhere?

Make sure your instrument panel is grounded good. Sometimes the power will "bleed" thru a bulb that shouldn't be burning trying to get to ground. Worth a try!
