ARP. And be prepared to bend over.....all the way for the good ones.

You will probably have to call them for these. I don't remember seeing them in the catalog.

Yerp. Might want to call Ritter. He may have a set somewhere. Otherwise you are looking at well over $500 maybe over $1,000 now. Those things are like gold.

OK $2,250 for the 20 studs. Or is that $115 for the long studs on the top row?

We just found out that Ritter buys them in bulk to fit all the different W-8 combos. You will save big money over going threw ARP direct. If you can even get them to return you call.

Can you check for me but I thought yours should be 1/2 to 7/16 that's what the last w8 PST stuff was from CFE.

My set from Patterson were 1/2" to 7/16" 5 long and 5 short for each head. The CFE heads were drilled for 7/16.

I let my studs go with the heads. Didn't realize until I was well on my way I was not paid for the studs. That's what you get counting money in a thunder storm. The part that sucks is I was practically giving them away to start with.

Now listening to the prices of these studs. I really got screwed.

Leon

3/8 studs will not torque tight enough. These heads use 7/16.

Can't remember the exact torque but you go 85 lbs with stock 1/2" bolts. You can go a little more with 1/2" studs. 7/16 stepped studs went around 80 lbs. A 3/8 was only around 60 lbs.

10 head bolts at 85 lbs was not enough. Now you want to go with 18 3/8 head bolts. Would not recommend that.

it would only be the 2 in each head the others 16 will be 1/2 inch .. it is the 2 that are in between the intake runner

But here is picture of w8s that had small 3/8 head studs just in the head bolt holes that are in the intake ports.

Bret that appears to be a 1/2" stepped to 7/16". Are you saying this is a 1/2" stepped to 3/8". If that were the case you would not need to high dollar studs just thread reducers in the block like the OP suggested.

It's 1/2 to 3/8 I will set 7/16 by it so you can see.
