No, not to buy. This one belongs to a friend of mine. That's been sitting in the garage for nearly 18 years. The last time it was out was approx 1994 or so.
My job is to get it running so he can get it back on the road next spring.
It gets 3 new carbs, all new fuel tank, sender and lines and go thru the brake system front to rear. Recore the radiator and all new belts/hoses. And install a new trunk floor.

It's a real deal 1970 Challenger RT/SE 440 six pack FJ5 Limelight car. Originally an auto 4.10 Dana car, but it was converted to a 4 speed in the mid 70's-early 80s time frame(and it will stay that way ).
Always a semi local car, that I'm told came out of the Kettering Ohio area. Supposedly at some point in time the car had a Hemi in it for street racing duties. .
I've known of the car since the early 80's when it hung out at all the local cruise-inns back then.

Car was painted many years ago long before the current owner bought it( approx 1990) and it still looks pretty good so externally nothing will change. Other than replace the dry rotted tires,,, And maybe rechrome the bumpers Then just a good cleaning.

There may be some truth to the story that the car had a Hemi in it at one time... look at the brake booster.

I saw that, and I asked if he wanted to change it for the right one,,,, and he said nope, just leave it.
Even when I told of the value difference.

I am going to ck the K-frame and see if it's by chance dated right for this car or not. (it's a pretty early built car btw)
