About 3 years ago a friend was getting out of the Mopar hobby and offered me a couple of his A body barracudas. One was a 67 slant notch back that was up and running with a Kragen crate 6. The other was a 68 fastback that he had owned for around 10 years, was disassembled and a complete basket case. Since the 67 was already running I bought that one and used it for a daily driver.

My Buddy John, was interested in the 68 and wanting to keep it in the family, I let him buy it. He had great plans for the car that never came to be. Circumstances forced him to move, and with that the need to get rid of the project 68.

I have always wanted a 68 barracuda since high school; to me they were the ultimate Mopar muscle car. I decided to sell the notch back and buy the 68 to put together as my semi-daily driver. I got the car in the summer and as follows is my restoration. This will be pretty much a budget build, so I will use parts I already have or can get cheap.

Diego

As I got the car.

It looked like a clean start. When you said you want to go cheap on parts I didn't think that meant cheap on the pics too. Com 'on.......from old paint to primer, you gota have more pics then that, teaser. Nice car to be by the way.

I literally do not, that is all I have. It went to paint 3 months earlier they I wanted, so they are all I got.
