Hello all, I just got a new motor for my car I'm putting in soon. I know this is FAR from the perfect combonation of parts but it was free. I have no idea on hp or 1/4 mile times so take a guess.
440 Steel crank
10.5:1 compression
1.5 mp roller rockers
mopar .590 solid lift cam
edelbrock heads cnc ported
m1 single plain intake
holley 950 hp
Thorley 1.75" headers, dual 3" exhaust.
The car is a 3600 LB challenger with 727, 4000 stall converter, 3.91 gears and 26" tall tires. My old iron head engine with the same intake, isky .505 solid cam, and mild ported heads ran 11.7's. This motor i have yet to put in ra 10.60's in a dart 300 lbs lighter with very similar converter,gears ect. Any guesses?
