ok, so these never came factory on any cars, mopar, ford or GM?
No - G60-15s were the largest factory installed 60 series musclecar tires "back-in-the-day"
G60-15s on: '70 Trans Am e-bodies (rear) '71 - '73 b-bodies '70 - ('73-'74??) Buick intermediates (GS GSX etc.) ('73-'74??) Pontiac intermediates (GTO Grand Am)
& that's it!
Here's a couple H60s that were planned for the 6bblgt, but I don't think they'd fit the stock wheel well.

I believe that would be a misprint. I don't think Chrysler engineers would allow that wide of a tire on a 6 inch rim.

You'll have to take that up with Mike Mueller (author) or Hurst

300 Hursts came with H70's I have two NOS, need two more. I think Dan has 3 or 4 sets, came on the GTs too I believe. If anyone knows where they can be had please let me know. Thanks Greg
Yes, the 300Hs & Sport Fury GTs (OPTIONAL S/23s) had H70-15 Polyglas tires on them, mid-'70s Street Vans & Warlocks also used them. Here's a pair for winter duty, for those with SNOW!

Those tires are worth $$$ to the Corvette guys who will use them for "Original Spares" Wear on them doesn't hurt as long as the letters look good
Old OE tires were bringing good money a few years ago when there was lots of easy cash in the hobby, but that seems to have pretty much ended along with most of the big $$ restorations of average cars. There are a couple of Corvette shops on eBay that have been listing the same "old" tires for months with their $300-$500 each pricing & they're not selling.

My 70 LS5 2 top 4Speed car came with all 5 of them from the original owner I still have a photo copy of the window sticker that I can check I do C1 & C2 cars mostly & got the 70 on a deal on restoring another C1 that the guy bought new I could be wrong though!
I don't think the H60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT even existed in '70. While you are looking for the window sticker, get the DOT numbers off your H60-15s & we'll see when they were made. Does the H60-15 fit in the spare tire carrier? They are a BIG tire. If it lists F70-15 fiberglass "white stripe" - I have a great set of lightly used with '69 dates. Former NOS OE restoration tires removed for radials to drive on.
Know your C2s? Did any of the '67s use a F70-15? This NOS set of December '66 dated Goodyear SPEEDWAYs are on their second go around on eBay. $1600 sounds cheap to me for an OE 'Vette restoration, or would the dates be considered too early for a '68?

The 67's used a 7.75X15 Redline
So, NO 70 series tires on 'Vettes in '67 ..... even L88s?

my 70' the sticker says Firestone wide ovals
It's a copy of the original sticker & names "FIRESTONE" on it? Does it list anything as far as size or construction? & are those the STANDARD or OPTIONAL tires? Can you post or email a pic?

The 1978 Little Red Express trucks had G-60-15 tires in front and L-60-15 tires in the rear. They were Good Year Polyglass Radial GT tires. The wheels were 7 inch stamped steel chrome slotted in the front, and 8 inch in the rear.

..... but they were Goodyear GT Radial - NO "polyglas" (polyester/fiberglass) they were actually a polyester/aramid fiber ply that goodyear called "FLEXTEN".

They are a great "day two" tire & work well on the '71-'74 b-bodies with 8" wheels. They just do not command the $$ that OE sized tires do. What's the DOT number? (got pic?) The pair I have are from '73.
here is a pic of the DOT number if that helps.
