Out of curiosity, what keeps the z-bar from sliding left and right on the ball studs? I noticed that you can push the z-bar all the way to the engine bracket, which in turn nearly pulls it out of the fender stud. And visa versa.

I know there is the clip on the fender side of the z-bar, can someone explain to me how that works? Is that supposed to go on after it's been in stalled and suppose to keep it from sliding out?

Thanks for the input!

Look at the bushings , there should be a groove in them .
The clip that snaps around the Z-bar goes into the bar and locks into the grooves that are in the bushing thats inside the Z-bar, make sense ?

Makes total sense. Now since the z-bar is already installed, how will you know that the push clip is installed in those grooves correctly? Will it stop all play in the z-bar or will it still be able to slide left and right like right now?

When the clip is in the groove it does keep the z-bar from moving back and forth and in correct position. There will be a slight movement but you will know if it is in right.

It stops all by a very very small amount of movement.

Great - thanks! I was looking at it last night and noticed i could move it side to side and knew that it couldn't be correct.

Thanks for the help!
