What parts can be reused, and what parts cannot? I am thinking transmission mount, speedo cable, speedo gear, transmission crossmember, driveshaft and yolk, can all be re-used. Am I missing anything? Is there anything else that would have to be changed?

Which trans ? A body 4 speed is the same length as a 904 , if you go to a 727 you need a shorter driveshaft.

904 is lighter and has smaller internal parts , you'll need to spend $$$ to build either for nitrous, more on the 904.

For a 727 you will be able to reuse your 30 spline slip yoke but for a 904 you will need a 26 spline slip yoke.

I ran a 904 low gear trans in my 65 barracuda and it was the whip!
I think I bought it from Mazzalini racing.
I think that is how it is spelt?

ATF cooler, lines, shifter, wiring a Neutral safety switch, and doing something with the clutch pedal. Ballistic blanket probably. Figuring out the converter stall you need.
