Is there a 5" wheel available with the same(or close) backspacing as my stock 15x7 steelies?

Yes there is such an animal, I have them on the front of my Challenger. The wheels had a 34xxxxx part # writen on them but I do not remember the rest of the number. They are 15X5 and were sold by Chrysler. The 34xxxxx part # would make it a 1971 Wheel off some low performance model.

When I said the same backspacing what I meant was the end result would sit in the wheel well the same way. Obviously the backspacing would be different if that's the case because it is a smaller wheel. I assume you knew that is what i meant but I wanted to clear it up.

I also forgot to mention I wanted a big bolt pattern.

Would you say the outside of your wheel is in the same place? Do you know how many inches of backspace your wheels have?
Thanks for the reply.

I have a set of (4) nice 15" steelies that are BBP and 5" wide. I remember seeing a kelsey hayes logo and the PO said they were from a ford thunderbird. PM if interested & I'll get the backspacing for you

Robert, check the center hole; Ford wheels used to have a smaller spindle hole than Mopars. Wasn't a problem on Magnum 500s, but the basic steelies wouldn't fit Mopar spindles or axle registers.

The 5" wheels that I used came off an early B van. It was a slant 6 powered van with 15" x 5" wheels. They have a modern steel wheel look and are a good match for the 8" ramcharger rims.

Too many cars, too many parts, too little coin, too little space to work in, too little time left to make it all happen! Update: down to one ride, still too many parts, a little more jingle in the pocket, gaining space, and it's going to happen this year!

Some are saying 5" and others are say 5 1/2"
Were both sizes available in a large bolt pattern?
I need a pair of 5" in Ca.

The ones I have are 5.5". They came off an '82 D150 with a slant six and had 195-75-15 tires on them.
