mkbubs OP member Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 61 Texas	The belt for my power steering pump is rubbing on the oil filter. Does anyone know what brand, part number oil filter to get to eliminate this problem. i need a shorter oil filter. anyone else with a 440 come accross this problem? thanks for the help.

However, I'm with John; the filter length isn't your problem and I'm not sure a PH43 would be short enough anyway. I'm thinking, wrong belt, wrong pulley or something wacky with the brackets. They make those filters for CQ and NAPA. 85515 is the long filter for early power steering or manual steering. I want my fair share

Some people have had no problem with them but I won't risk one of my high dollar motors on them. When you're shifting at 6500 rpm you don't want to trust cardboard junk filters. Take a Fram apart and then tell me how well made they are.
