az426john OP mopar A Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 493 Arizona	Does anyone know of a Carter AFB Metering Rod number to decimal equivalency chart that shows 16-XXX 2 step rod is .065 X 0.52 for old factory carbs? I am specifically looking for 16-403 and 16-405.

az426john OP mopar A Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 493 Arizona	It's for a 66 273 4 barrel, 4 speed car, but the only book I have is for a 67 so I was using carb humber 4294S. We are trying to lean it out a little at idle. I will PM you.

You might have a different issue unrelated to jetting or rods.
