Hello, i dropped my 383 in my dart and realized i dont have the bolts to connect my 833 bellhousing to my engine & the bolts to connect my bellhousing to my transmission. Does anyone know what size the bolts are? Would any hardware store work?

Thanks
Ryan

i believe they are 3/8 x 16 x 1 1/4" long for the smaller ones, and 7/16 x 14 x 1 1/2"[maybe 1 3/4"] long for the two bottom ones. use grade 5 bolts[3 hash marks on the head], not the cheapy, no grade showing hardware bolts. that being said, there are lots of hardwear and home inprovement stores that sell grade 5 fasteners.

Do you know if the bolts that connect the bellhousing to the transmission are they same 3/8"?

Thanks!
