Wiper motor stops in any position when switch is turned off. 1968 rr three speed switch,what would be the cause for this to happen, is it the motor or the switch or something else, need a quick fix. thanks.

Usually its the park switch in the motor.Ive had a few that werent getting a good ground also do that.Run a ground wire straight from the batt to the motor case and see if it parks.Rocky

Yep, that's the culprit. my original Roadrunner waaay back when did this. went to the boneyard, pulled a different motor, bingo, problem solved. and before you ask - julesdawiperman has restored motors that are insanely 'purty'!
