I just picked up this '89 Dodge Dakota Sport Convertible. It is all original including the tires and only has 30,000 miles on it. Only 23 years old but still a survivor I guess?

Thanks,
Eric

Yes, found it local. It's the 3.9L V6 Magnum, 2wd, auto, A/C, PW,PL, cruise, PS, PDB, AM-FM cassette stereo. Not a speck of rust on it, underside has no corrosion either. Not driven in winter and always well kept.

Its got to be a survivor if it has factory paint! Most of the paint from that era ended up on the side of the road.

My '89 Shelby Dakota is original paint too but like you said, a lot of it peeled off and is gone... This Dakota Convertibles' paint is beautiful and original!

Did you stop at the Black Stallion to eat or did you buy it in Hampton? I've never seen one before!

I bought the truck from the owner of the Black Stallion. I took that picture when I went to look at it!

Love it man, where did you pick it up at. I have only seen some real beat up ones in Mexico City but I always thought them and the Shelby Dakotas were cool. Thanks for posting.

First off, just wanted to say beautiful truck. Second, off if you decide to sell it within the next year or so let me know. I am thinking of getting something again next year to keep the miles off my 04 Ram 4.7 4x4. I've had two of them in the past and I miss the 90 2wd base Dakota Convertible I sold. Kicking myself for that as it was a solid California truck. I also had a salvaged 89 4x4 with a screwed up body lift on it.
