As the topic title says, Scott rebuilt/restored my 4618SA for the Daytona and boy, it looks great. Can't wait to see how she runs...

In geophysical terms it would be known as: reprocessed.

OK Dwight... Don't tell me you work in the Geophysics world in Calgary? I work from Schlumberger as a Microseismic Geophysicist for Hydraulic Fracture Monitoring. And yes, my 4618SA has been reprocessed with the latest algorithms and filters..

Troy: You know I do! We have emailed in the past about this particular carb when you were looking for it, a 71 22" rad, etc.
Very nice to see that you were able to get that always elusive tringular aluminum tag for your carb! Well done, and great work, as always Scott!!!

I saw this thread when it was posted.... I had just got my carb back from Scott. Well, decided to put the carb on a few weeks ago, Not so happy. It leaked more fuel out of the carb than down the throats....that is about as far as I am going. Had another carb we salvaged parts from.

Sorry to hear of your issues Jim, I see an invoice to you from approximately 1 year ago for a Holley, is this the one you are having trouble with? Last I heard from you was back in April when you were seeking out the right choke, did you ever find one? Based on what you described it could be something as simple as a float adjustment.

You are aware that I fully warrant my work against build problems right? All you need to do is call me and let me know what's happening and I will handle it 100% but I can't help you if you don't contact me.
