Any tips or tricks to removing the valve body in a 727 lock up trans.

I am going to replace the shifter shaft seal.

Thanks,

Jason

I changed my seal without having to drop the valve body.

K-D makes a tool for this

If you're going to remove the VB, put it in Park and turn the driveshaft until it clicks into park...this will make the park rod easier to remove.

Thanks guys,

I have seen the tool, but I need to change the fluid and filter anyway, so no big deal on dropping the vb.

Thanks

Jason
