Pretty excited to get my hands on this 2.8L Mammoth Kenne Bell for my DArt with a forged 6.1, ported 6.1 heads, and hot cam. I think I will have to do some fire wall mods to get this in but it will be kick ass for sure!

You don't want that junk! Just send it to me and I will dispose of it for you for a small fee.....oh heck, I'll do it for free.

Just kidding. It sure is purdy! (can you tell I'm just a little jealous?)

I have a 2.3 on a 2006 GT mustang. Love it! It feels just like you increased the motor size, as torque is there from the bottom up. How much boost you going to run? Intercooled?
Size of motor?

I have a 6.1 hemi with forged crank, stock rods with new bolts, forged pistons, ported heads, and hot cam. I am wanting to run the lowest boost possible 8" lower and 4" upper... Prolly have me around 12-14 lbs. which means I should most likely run e85.

You will LOVE it! I know I love mine! Next time I build an old Mopar it will have a twin screw on it for sure. Instant boost equals instant fun.

Here is the reason I say this. Alot of people have gotten away with using stock rods in boost applications. If everything is right the rods can handle it no question. My concern is that one day when the guy is making or inspecting the rods before it is put into production. Is he having a good day ect.
With a production rod, quality is a crape shot. Your making millions of them, so what if you have some that not 100%.
Spend the extra 500 on KI
I don't know the price of checking and mag your old ones but I THINK it would be half of new ones.
Sell your 6.1 to ofset the cost. Matt
