If you are starting from scratch you might as well use 1350 u-joints. A Viper is the only mopar that used a 1350 slip yoke with a 727 type spline and diameter.

either would be fine, but make sure you get solid forged u joints regardless.

for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

5-811x Spicer if 7290 U-Joint
or 5-1350x Spicer if You go with 1350 U-Joint

If You decide to go 1350.. and You cant find the Yoke Local to You
I Stock the 1350 Spicer 727 Trans Yoke PT# 3-3-3931

I used a 7290 driveshaft end with the stock 7290 to 1330(maybe 1310, not sure of the proper Dana Spicer part numbers ) Hi Po solid center stock type U joint Mopar used that same type U joint on the stock production muscle cars back in the day that came with the Dana 60, 4 speed hemi cars and all of them that where assembled with the Dana 60 rear ends That Dana 60 pinion yoke has U bolt as the U joint retainer, not straps and bolts like the 8 3/4 have. All that being said if your starting from scratch including the driveshaft go with the 1350
