AndyF I Win A Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 30,989 Oregon	I was hoping that someone had a new rear main seal for Mopar big blocks like Tri-Tec Motorsports makes for the more popular engines. Tri-Tec has a bunch of race seals, but nothing for BB Mopar. Anyone understand why Tri-Tec sells a trick rear main seal for the Mopar pro stock Hemi, but they don't sell one for BB Mopars? Wouldn't the BB version of that seal outsell the PS Hemi seal by a factor of 10,000? Last edited by AndyF; 02/15/12 10:59 PM.

They do R3 and R5 stuff as well as Pro Stock, but thats about it. Fact of the matter is, there arent ( by the numbers) enough BBM engines out there running high vacuum applications for anyone to bother. To be honest, the good " red" seals work absolutley fine in just about everything I have used them in, just gotta do it right. I'll pose the question to Greg however. AndyF I Win A Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 30,989 Oregon	They only charge $65 for the ProStock seal. If they had a BB Mopar seal for $65 they would sell a lot more volume than the PS Hemi seal. There are only about 100 PS Hemi engines in the entire world.

rickraw top fuel R Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 2,404 Ambridge, Pa.	i used 1 years ago. oring material worked great. just apply some silicone on them. never leaked. i did get a red rear seal from dvorak for a sb. it leaked after 5 miles. it didn't look like the stock felpro. i think it may have been for a vacume pump setup. watch what u buy.
