Again, nice execution, and well thought out Not clear, what holds the spoiler Plexi in place?
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

The spoiler has an aluminum inner structure. Through bolts from the back of the spoiler secure it in the channel. The channel is deep enough to hold the plexi in double shear, and the bolts in the back prevent it from coming up and out. This was my first idea before deciding to use the channel, but the inner structure remains the same. (Sketch from Jeff Munssey at Munssey Speed and Design. It really pisses me off that he can do this while I'm on the phone with him telling him what I want...I wish I could draw well!)

Also, the rear of the 1/4 drop, would you want to taper that towards the center of the car? I'm not totally sure of the top speed concept, just throwing that out there. Would doing this make the car more apt to be "squirrely" at top speeds?
Not sure which part your talking about?
The black piece to rear of the tires. Below the 1/4 panel.
Okay, I see. No. The air on the rear quarter needs to stay "attached" to the side of the car, and be prevented from "rolling" under the car until it can merge back together behind it. Merging the air from the spoiler, under the car, and from the sides smoothly is the trick. People make LOTS of money figuring that out. Balancing downforce with drag. I'm not that concerned with every last .001 of a second lap time. I'll error on the down force side for stability and pay the drag penalty. That being said, I still want it fast! The rear extensions are the outside "plates" of the rear diffuser. Between them, on the valance, are 3 smaller plates that help direct airflow from under the car, and between them all is a lower wing!! So air exits out the back, is forced to stay straight by the plates, and then is curved upwards from the valance shape with vortex generators and lower wing. This merges with the air coming off the spoiler, without disrupting the airflow from the sides of the car too badly, to make a clean hole through the air. Theoretically!! We'll see what the wind tunnel says when its done. I can't afford to develop parts in the tunnel, so am relying on a few people with tons of experience from two completely different back grounds. One a race car guy and one an aerospace engineer. Don't forget to throw me in to screw it up with my own ideas!!

Thanks, it's in version 2.0 now! Ben Hermance is doing a rendering now so I can finally see if the picture in my head is the same as reality!

Thanks guys. Here is a link to Jeff @ Munssey Speed and Design, who is doing the molds and production pieces. He is just starting out, does very good quality work, and is still affordable!! Check out his Facebook page for pics of the process from plug-to-mold-to-production-pieces. He just posted up the bumper start procedure. http://www.munsseyspeedanddesign.com I think this stuff is cool to see, but then again, I watch a lot of How it's Made and Factory Made on TV.

Think I am going to ditch the chrome. I think this looks much better.

I love the wheels on the second pic, That's the exact style I'm looking for...The car it's self speaks for it's self...
Thanks, those are Forgline DE3C's. My wife likes those better, too. I'm really liking the Rodsters. Guess I'll wait until time to order to have that "discussion".

What's with the stripe on the roof?
Those are roof rails with integrated windshield clips. Both required by SCTA for cars running over 200 mph.

Well, I guess I have strayed too far from the Mopar purist. It was bound to happen. Updates will be on Cuda-Challenger as the car progresses.

Thanks guys.
Actually scheduled some weekend time for this!! Haven't had a chance to even wipe the dust off in about 6 months.
Time to squeeze in some 345's and start the wide body.
