I finally finished one center and stainless cap!! It took almost an hour to use 1/8 inch pin stripers tape to mask off each fin on the stainless cap. I had to strip all the paint off the back side and hand paint the orange and black. I used non smudge aluminum on the sides and Alclad for the chrome part. I finished it off with a grey top coat to look original. It took alot of time.... three more.

finally got around to installing the rear bumper. just got the head light bezels back from anodizing so I can work on installing the front bumper and grill. It feels good to get the bumpers out of my basement after sitting for 6 years done and ready to install. I can't wait to get the bench seat out!

Regarding the Hemi emblem under the rear seat. I've heard from several old timers who worked on the assembly lines back in the day here in Detroit, that during final assembly, whatever small parts they couldn't fit to the car in, were thrown into the car in the rear seat floor area as the car went down the line. Then, upon delivery to the dealer, it was then up to the dealer to remove the rear seat cushion and find, fix, or put on any parts found under the rear seat. This happened at Ford and GM plants too.

Awesome car and progress! Keep it going!
