A4 silver is a nice color and not often seen on a 69 coronet, but I am building this one to look sinister. So, to me, black with a black stripe and a black interior sounds pretty tough to beat. If the car had its numbers matching engine and trans, that would be a different story.

I like black but agree with the others A4 is a GREAT color and talk about a stand out! BTW, did you know that there are at least 3 all black 68-69 B-body cars that are or will be racing in Pure Stock next season? Two of them are Hemi's as well......Another reason I'd stay with silver

I know it would be different by keeping it silver and it isnt a bad color, but on a coronet, it doesnt stand out to me. It does stand out on a 1969 GTX though. Black looks good on everything!

I know all about the pure stock cars you mentioned, one more black hemi b body wont hurt

NOTHING beats black as long as it is straight and the black is layed out correctly. A4 has too much green in it FWIW. Not a bad color, just not my cup of diet pepsi. Iam a green guy....LOL

I try to avoid expressing an opinion on the internet, but another vote for A4 here. Whatever, it's going to look great and kudos to you for restoring it! Looking forward to seeing it finished!

I have all of the underdash compnonents restored already. Moving onto the ramcharger ductwork next, I already have the center ring done but the outer boxes are going to take a little bit of time. Here are some pictures of the restored heater box.

Nice work. I have to agree with you on A4 being a little greenish. I can't point fingers, my car is black too.

Very cool project. Look foward to seeing it done. Do you have the power built for it yet?

You know I love Black but silver is very nice and it will be 20% cooler at the track. That's fact!!! My car and my trailer are always 20% hotter then the light colored ones.
