25.3 book only shows the 25.3 spec. Yes it calls out every mandatory bar, dia. and wall thickness. 25.3 is not that much more work and it's a little heavier and safer. I think 25.5 you have a choice of mild or moly where 25.3 is moly only and has to be tig welded

So the 25.3 just shows the add on bars to what? 25.5 or where does it show the whole frame concept?
I would do moly so tig is no problem. I bend and weld my stuff so I can conform to my size. So should I get the 3,4and 5 to lay a good foundation and build up from there?

25.3 is only a few more bars thasn the 25.5. The 25.3 book shows you everything you need to know. You could start with that. but if you did start with the 25.5 in moly and tig you could later upgrade it to a 25.3. If you used mild you would have to start over to upgrade. Might as well do it all at once thou

The SFI chassi book for the cert you want is about 40 dollars. It list every bar and size. There well worth the money.

No further picture updates yet. Just buying more parts to get a little further, I have new MSD crank trigger, distributor, wire set to be made, Meziere electric water pump & figuring out the front drive assembly mounting everything to the front plate with a vacuum pump & alternator now.

Yes, everyone was kind enough to give me my own build area to stay after and machine, assemble, fabricate whatever I needed and dyno once I was done.

The trans will hold up fine for now. With today's power management capabilities I will be taking power out of it to get it to leave anyway and bringing both kits in. Thanks for posting the latest pictures Jeff.

Ratio will be the issue. 2.45 low on radials, lots of nitrous, big block = nearly impossible to manage early. You should look into a 2nd gear leave valve body

It's not makimg that much power. That will be an upgrade eventually. Right now I just have to run with what I have.
