garymendy OP mopar G Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 425 ne ohio	was a hood pin hood a factory option in 1970 and how would you be able to tell if a 70 hood with pins is a factory hood pin hood. any info would be very much appreciated!! i fell like someone is going to go there anyway, so: how many hoods could a hood pin hood if a hood pin could hood pins???

DGS mopar Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 636 Graz, Austria	Yes, it was a factory option in 1970 (my Charger has it) - code J45 on the fender tag. about 34% of all Charger R/Ts had the option - not rare but not very common either. No numbers on the Charger 500s (not available on XH base models as far as I know). Info take from 1970chargerregistry.com
