A close-up of how the factory did it would be much appreciated. I have a full quarter and a donor roof which was cut off a couple of inches above the factory joint. I plan on extending the roof down to intersect the quarter lap joint prep, but not sure how the edge of the extension will connect to the understructure. Pic is where I'm at now. thanks

Thanks. It looks like the roof flange that spot welds to the rain gutter just entends down, and maybe that edge is trimed back a little. If anyone has a shot looking towards the rear of the car would be great.

If you go to "Members Projects and Survivor Pics" there is a thread in there called Jake's Challenger project and he has some good pics in there, you'll just have to look for them, but its some good info for a e-body and some good work.

I've seen Jakes post, pretty impressive undertaking, didn't see a detail shot like I want, thanks anyway. I should be good to go now.
