I've had my Roadrunner torn down now for about a year, it's currently on a Rotisserie at my house. I'll be putting the car back together once it's painted.

The shop that I had in mind (and feel pretty good about) has been staying busy with insurance work and a couple of other projects. They know old mopars inside & out, but they're small and I'm not 100% certain they have the time for my car.

I've visited two other shops that have been recommended to me and they're either too busy or don't want to take on such a monster (20 ft) project. I'm not comfortable just opening the yellow pages with this project, I need it done right.

If anyone would like recommend a shop / someone and maybe tell me why they feel comfortable with the recommendation, I'd appreciate it.

What is your exact location in California?

Is Salinas within distance? They did my car. They were very fast with quality work. PM me if that is within reach for you.

Dan , I just had my '71 Challenger R/T painted this past summer by a GREAT guy in Chino Valley , Arizona. { Copper State Creations } . His name is Dave "Gnome" . He does INCREDIBLE work & is 120% a man of his word. I know it's about 800 miles away , but I'll tell you it was absolutely worth the trip! I can send you a bunch of before / after photos if you want. In a 'nutshell' the BEST body / paint experience I've EVER had! PM or email me if you want further..........

I wanted to thank everyone for the responses, they're really appreciated. Looks like I have a phone call or two to make.

Thanks.
