can anyone tell me the correct part #'s for the master cylinder & booster for a 1970 hemi cuda with power disc brakes ? the #'s i have are : master 2944476 and booster 2944486. are these correct ? if not, what are the correct #'s ? i'm assuming these are specific to hemi cudas only ? what are the differences between these and say a hemi b-body 69-72 ?
thanks in advance !

You have the correct master cylinder part number. I don't have a picture handy, but it has a casting number 2229191. It was used on '70-'71 hemi B and E bodies with power disc brakes. The earlier years hemi master cylinder has a taller and thinner reservoir.

Don't want to steal the tread, but it's a similar question. Got a 70 Hemi Cuda here with a leaking master. Casting number on the master is 2230854. First off does anyone know what this is and secondly where I could find a rebuild kit for it.

Thanks
Chris

That casting number is found on a master cylinder that looks pretty much the same as the '71-75 disc brake master cylinder used on most Chrysler products. That master cylinder uses the casting with number 3461187. I've had those two master cylinders side by side and the only external difference I see is that the outlet bosses on the one you have don't stick out quite as far.
I haven't taken them apart to compare the pistons. However, I assume yours would also have a 1-1/32" bore, and the kit for the '71-75 disc brake Mopars would most likely be the one you need to rebuild yours.

I don't know the part number, but hemi E bodies with power brake got a special booster. Looks like the one in this ebay auction:

The entire assy is HEMI specific, from the offset brackets to the deminsional mounting measurements of the booster, the Bendix dual diaphram is similar to the B/C body unit, but the rear stud arrangement and pushrod assy are quite different

Anyone wish to comment on the vendor in the ebay ad versus 'Booster Dewey' for a rebuild of an original booster?

Pretty sure the rod that runs through the firewall from the booster to the brake pedal is a different length between E-body and B-body cars.

I cannot remember which is longer.

Also the Hemi Bendix booster has 3/8 mounting studs versus 5/16.
