I'm thinking seriously about buying a Barracuda on racingjunk (ad# 2286938), the current owner hasn't had it very long, suppose to be an old Jon Percy car. Do any of you guys know any of it's history? Who built it, etc? Thanks in advance for any help/info!

That car has changed hands a couple of times in the last couple of years. Not sure why just sayin

I know a guy that would entertain selling a 68 that can run anywhere from S/C to S/ST and works killer in the .90 wars

Yeah, I was thinking about calling on that one. This black one is a lot closer to me, and there's just something about the way the car sits that I like. Anyway.. I made a deal on it. Got it with a new JW glide, converter and shifter for $16.5. Now.. I hope one of you guys doesn't tell me that you remember see it on it's roof a couple of years back! Still like to find out some history. If any of you can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again.

I guess that would be Jon Percy that is an Insurance Agent in Pocatello, Idaho. Google shows him as an Insurance Agent at Conquest Insurance.

I would try calling him and asking him some questions about it... He is racing a 64 Savoy now..

If that isn't him I apologize..

Not sure what John Percy does for a living but thought he was a potato farmer. Anyway he races stock and super stock. The Belvedere/Savoy in Stock and a 68 Cuda in SS/AH. I believe this is an older car of his. His son also races in the bracket wars.
