I need some pics for the brake line routing on a 71 barracuda/cuda as I am changing from drum to disc. I bought the 2 new valves - proportioning valve and the distribution valve along with the 2 piece front to rear brake line. Since I didn't have this before and the car was half apart when I bought it, I do not know where the the proportioning valve mounts, in which direction, and such. If someone could shoot some detailed pics for me of routing and all I would greatly appreciate it!

Also if it isn't too much trouble, the same for the fuel lines, especially the ECS lines as they were missing. I bought them but I don't know if I will use em.

Thanks again, can email me the pics at midairmark2@aol.com

The brake lines, booster, master cyl and rubber hoses are different along with the proportioning valve. I converted my 71 from drum to disc and just ordered everything for disc. Everything bolted up fine and worked. My suggestion is to not mix the drum brake parts with your disc brake parts.
Good luck.

Having a return line is recomended by me, set it up/order fuel lines for hemi or 440 6 pack.

this is the valve in particular I am having trouble with. Looking at Beeps #2 pic, looks to go under the drivers floor board. Which opening is the "flow in" and which is "flow out"? Also, does it bolt to the body with that bolt it came with?

Mark,
You should not be using the valve on the frame rail. Jan 70 it was put into the dist block under master cylinder.

Hi Bob, I thought that was the case and I questioned this but I was told I needed 2 valves for non powered disc brake cars (I am converting from drums up front to the 11 3/4 junkyard setup). Here is the second valve they said I needed. Also what is the metering valve? Is that just for powered discs?

Are these the valves I should need for non powered disc front/drum back? Or should I just have the one Bob shows?

Mark, I was just showing you that the dist block and prop valve how are made together. If you are changing to disc front you will need the metering one also. Don't be confused the metering block is a extra valve attached to the dist block. It is different then the prop valve. Early 70 E body w/disc had all 3 but after Jan 70 went to the 2 put together.
Hope this helps
Bob
