At some point in the future, I am going to replace my headliner. 1971 'Cuda with white interior. It is a late year build so I have 4 bows. The picture is of my original headliner still installed.

Who makes the best, most OEM headliner out there. I am not worried about the cost just yet, just the best.

Thanks,

.,

Legendary

I do not mean to sound ungrateful...

I could use a few more details. Have you used them? Are they dead on or the closest?

I know that Legendary makes good stuff but they are not the only game in town these days.

Talk to Dantes. They carry Legendary. They, however, will tell you if what you are looking for is correctly reproduced by Legendary. I know the 73 Ebody headliner from Legendary is incorrect from asking Dantes. He did not have to tell me but did, that is standup ethics.

That was a good read, nice thread. Thanks for linking it.

However, His 1973 Challenger and my 1971 'Cuda do not share the same headliner material.

I installed one made by Legondary on a 71 Cuda 440/6 and it placed 1st at Carlisle and 2nd the same year at the nats. Is that good enough ??? The materal that Legindary uses is a bit heavier then OEM . I do remember that the texture and the perforations were a bit off from the orig . Its a easy part for a local shop to stitch up if you could find the OEM materal.

That is what I am talking about. That is good enough for me.

Thanks for your reply.

I bought the headliner for my T/A from these guys. I compared what they had to what Legendary had at the time and thought SMS was much closer to original.

You can request samples and compare prior to buying.

Good luck

They would probally be the best source if your building a ECS type car but be prepared to pay twice as much as they quoted me $249 for a headliner.
