Has anyone tried one of these sending unit tools? It looks like it may work on new parts but may be too weak for older rusty parts.

I have one from Wilson Productions

Looks to be similar or the same. I just used it to remove an original sending unit from a 71 Challenger and it worked fine.

I bought that same one from the same seller on ebay about a year ago. Between me and friends it has been used 3 times on cars being repaired/restored and worked well. My only suggestion is to put duct tape on the handle and/or wear gloves to be easier on the hands.
