I agree that ol honest Geans' scoops are about the best out there.
Drill out the various bosses, and little finessing to get the grills to mount, and the doors bolt right in.
All others you will spend hours on trying to make look good and in the end will still not be happy with the resulting look.
You can buy one from Gean this time of year for closer to $200 than $300 if you call and talk to him personally.
Dales Cuda shop has the most inexpensive hot/cold doors out there today and they will work fine for you, around $160 for everything.
Same go for his cables if you decide to use them and the doors, less than $100/pair.
But if you are looking to save and function is not important, dont use the doors, just run the long carb air cable through the firewall for appearance.
The grills may be a problem as the best ones, made by Jerome Verbit are no longer being done.
Those are the ones Year One carry but are really marked up and they will tell you they are on back order, but I doubt you will see them ever have them again.
Snobars' grills are $200+ and again with a little scoop tweaking will work just fine for you.
Dont let Gean talk you into using his aluminum grills as they are brutal.
I would stay away from those plastic grills seen on Ebay and perhaps even the mesh ones.
A friend bought a pair and you should see the warpage after the sun hit them.
Repro shaker seals are around $60 for decent ones.
So putting decent money in the scoop and scrimp on the parts under it is the way I would go and you can likely do it for less than $1200.

....That's putting it "nicely", as I've seen those grilles in person, you'd be better off fabbing your own grilles on a mill, (which I have done in the past before the repros came out) Jeromes are nice, I got 2 sets from Year One about 3 yrs ago, in stock at that time....I've got Year Ones bubbles which are a composite plastic (not a glass lay-up), very heavy in density, light gray on the outside and black underside, supposely YO's better "upgrade" bubbles, as they offer 2 type, approx $400 ea, grilles fit with minimal effort, all the bosses are molded in,,,,I did have a fiberglass repro many years ago from all places "Jims Auto Parts", very nice construction, Red GelCoat finisk, very accurate as far as fitting of all the factory grilles, doors, base, etc, again all the bosses were in place, and very nice construction for a fiberglass part
