I used 3/8 3M ribbon on my 74 Barracuda front and rear glass. Trim fit perfect and tight to the glass, John.

I am only aware of two thicknesses. 5/16" is from the factory. 3/8" if the body is distorted to the point that 5/16 will not allow proper fitment of the trim.

I've used both 5/16 and 3/8". 5/16 is cleaner but can be tough to get a good seal somethimes. 3/8 gives a good seal but sometimes ouzzes out everywhere requiring triming.
